I just tried this and nothing turned out. Which is odd, because I usually have a lot of luck in the kitchen. The brownie was super oily after it was cooked, and the chocolate wouldn’t stick to it. And the chocolate was a problem in itself. I did like you did in the video, and the chocolate wasn’t smooth and it stayed clumpy, even after stirring forever. I’m gonna give it another go- just in case I did something wrong. But I’ve watched the video over and over and I can’t find out what I did wrong…

I have made batches of cake pops, and only use the Wilton candy melts, Very easy, No double boiler or steam. One little drop of water can totally ruin the chocolate, This is why the microwave works great. Pour melts from package into a heatproof bowl or large coffee mug to 3/4 of the container size, microwave for 30 seconds, take out using a glove or cloth and stir for a couple minutes, reheat 20 seconds, and again stir. Most of the wafers will turn into the soft melting chocolate. You can reheat as many times, to keep them melted while dipping the pops. Also No water or milk to be added ! But you can color the white candy melts using Wilton’s candy colorings. I made 200 for a wedding using all shades of blue. and used the Wilton silver spray colors. Baby cakes makes a cake pop machine which generally turns out pretty darn balls of cake.

Thank you so much for the recipe and demonstration. I know how hard those videos are to make and you did a great job.

It helps to dip the stick into the chocolate before putting it into the ball. It stays on the ball better
